Bobsville.Net
Welcome! So, what is Bobsville.Net, anyway? One thing it is not is a place to set up a community, chat room, or sign up for free web hosting services. If you came here looking for that, you probably meant to go to a site with a .com extension and a name that is quite, well, similar to this one. Unfortunately, I can't link directly to that site or mention them by name because some of the stuff that is likely to appear on Bobsville.Net would probably cause them to get their panties in a wad, and we can't have that. It's only 13 keystrokes away; it won't kill you to type it.
What Bobsville.Net is is a site that I use for several purposes:
1. Keep up with new web development technologies and practice them by building them into this site (assuming I have time, which I haven't yet, which is why my site was built with FrontPage - ironic, isn't it?).
2. Provide a place for me to post links relating to .NET
3. Provide a public meeting place for me to post stuff for my friends (I suppose I could run an FTP server, but my ISP has some kind of majorbigtime issue with that).
4. Provide a pulpit from which I can extol my twisted philosophies (of course, I have to remember to keep my satire separate from my philosophies, because you might not be able to tell the difference - yes, I am really out there).
